Cal-Van’s Relay Circuit Diagnostic Tool does not just test a relay to see if it is good or bad, or just provide a convenience for a technician to use probes like some of the relay tools available. Along with having both of those functions it will test the entire relay circuit from the battery to the relay, relay to ignition or switch, and from the relay to the component. Within seconds the user can tell if they have bad relay, bad component or if they have a short or power issue, where that issue is.
- The tool can also be used to jump relays to act as a remote starter for combustion test, distributor or cam shaft adjusting, or finding dead center. Jump the A.C. compressor relay for a fill. Headlight relay to test for High and low beam or adjustment. These are just a few of the uses the tool can be used for.
- Kit includes the tester, 6 popular relay leads, 1 universal relay lead. Comes in a blow molded case with a high density foam insert.

This is great for what its advertised for, testing relay circuitry. But the more I use it the more great applications I find for it. Anything operated by a relay can be controlled with the "jumper" switches, which saves alot of time. Also it works great for measuring amp flow through a circuit by using a meter at the test terminals. ex: if a blower motor fuse was blown, this allows a great place to perform a amp draw test!
